Preliminary data for 2008 shows 232 fatalities on state routes and interstates compared to 275 in 2007. Target 262 by 2009 and zero by 2030 is on all roads. Data as of November 2009.
1.2 - Serious injuries on state routes and interstates		1016		WSDOT, WSP, WTSC, DOL	Serious injuries on state highways and interstates have declined. Preliminary collision data for 2008 show a total of 1,016 serious injuries on state routes and interstates compared to 1,116 in 2007. Data as of August 2009.

2. Preservation

2.1 - Percent of state highway pavement in fair or better condition	90%	93%		WSDOT	WSDOT maintains over 18,000 lane miles of state highway pavements, 100% of which is inspected annually. Data current through 2007.
2.2 - Percent of state bridges in fair or better condition	97%	97%		WSDOT	For Fiscal Year (FY) 2009, 97% of WSDOT’s bridges were in good or fair condition. WSDOT’s bridge inventory increased from 3,607 to 3,628 total structures between FY 2008 and FY 2009. Data as of June 2009.
2.3 - Percent of targets met for state highway maintenance levels		50%		WSDOT	During 2008, 16 of the 32 Maintenance Accountability Process (MAP) activity targets were achieved. This declined over the past few years as inventories and the cost of doing business increased, while funding levels remain steady.

3. Mobility

WSP	The third quarter of 2009 saw 70 over-90-minute incidents on the nine key routes, with an average duration of 156 minutes for the quarter. The annual 2009 average to date is 156 minutes, one minute above the annual goal. Data current as of November 2009.
3.3 - Number of commute trips reduced while driving alone	42000 trips	26037 trips		WSDOT	Measure includes two state trip reduction programs focused on reducing drive alone trips: the Commute Trip Reduction and the Growth and Transportation Efficiency Center programs. Data as of Sept. 2007.
