WSDOT maintains over 18,000 lane miles of state highway pavements, 100% of which is inspected annually. Data current through 2007.

For Fiscal Year (FY) 2009, 97% of WSDOT’s bridges were in good or fair condition. WSDOT’s bridge inventory increased from 3,607 to 3,628 total structures between FY 2008 and FY 2009. Data as of June 2009.

During 2008, 16 of the 32 Maintenance Accountability Process (MAP) activity targets were achieved. This declined over the past few years as inventories and the cost of doing business increased, while funding levels remain steady.
