1.1 - Fatalities on ALL Washington roads545 492 WTSC, WSP, WSDOT, DOLTraffic fatalities on all Washington roads decreased from 521 in 2008 to 492 in 2009, a drop of 5.6%. The statewide fatality rate in 2009 was 0.87 traffic fatalities per 100 million vehicle-miles traveled. Target of 545 is for 2009, zero by 2030.
1.1.e - Fatalities on State Routes and Interstates244 236 WTSC, WSP, WSDOT, DOLTraffic fatalities on state routes and interstates increased slightly from 232 in 2008 to 236 in 2009, but remained very low compared to 2007's 275 fatalities. Current trend is a decrease of 10.6 traffic fatalities per year. Data as of December 2010.
