 Summary Analysis

  • The Department of Early Learning has an internal policy of closing licensing complaint inspections within 45 calendar days of intake.
  •  DEL consistently met this guideline from 2007 forward until Q2 of 2010.
  • Quarters two and three have seen a median that is slightly higher than this guideline due to problems closing complaints and staff vacancies.
  • DEL created and implemented a GMAP action plan in April 2010 to increase performance. Results should be reflected our 4th quarter GMAP results.
  • More is explained in the Extended Analysis and Action Plan.
